I bought these specifically for their close focus to watch hummingbirds at our porch feeder, and for theater use. While not as sharp as my high-end Swarovski's, they were wonderful on a Kayak trip - light weight around my neck, and no worries if they got wet. I have yet to try them at a show, but I picked the natural finish so they would be easier to find in a darkened theater.
Pros: light weight, 3-position eye relief, close focus, water proof
Cons: resolution/sharpness could be better
