Leupold vx-3i 4.5-14x50mm fantastic hunting scope - Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x50mm Rifle Scope

I did a lot of research for scopes in the $300 - $700 price range before purchasing the Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x50mm Duplex Reticle scope and I definitely made the right decision. The glass is crystal clear and the magnification range from 4.5x up to 14x is awesome. On 4.5x I have no problem focusing on a target as close as 10 yards away, although the field of view is extremely limited at that close distance. Even at 14x the clarity is like looking with your naked eye with the added bonus of a greatly enlarged target. I have experimented with before daybreak and after sunset views on this scope and I would rate scope clarity and light gathering as exceptional. I have the scope mounted on a 30-06 and it performs flawlessly. If you are a deer hunter or other game animal hunter that sees the most activity right before daybreak, actually at daybreak, at sunset or within a half hour after sunset this scope is a great choice for your rifle.
