Although the Mark 4 tactical base is a little more than the other bases available this base is the best around!Another plus,the Leupold line is made here in the U.S.A..Quality products when you get the Mark 4 rings be sure to get the aluminum type as Leupold does not recommend using the steel rings with the aluminum bases.
Pros: Easy to mount to rifle,lines up perfect for the Remington 700,Made in the U.S.A.
