I was skeptical - Leupold Magnetic Carbon Fiber Bipod Standard

I decided to try this bipod on the recommendation of a friend. I was skeptical at first, but after receiving the unit, I'm toally impressed. You don't realzie how light it is until you get it into your hands. The quality is outstanding and it just plain works. Comparing it to the Atlas, I was convinced it couldn't perform as well. Boy was I wrong. For casual bench shooting and hunting, this thing is terrific!! As a plus, it comes with everything you need to mount it on just about any platform. Will it replace the Atlas? NO, but to me they're for totally different applications. Heavy rifle bench and field shooting, go with the Atlas. For hunting or bench shooting with lighter rifles, definitely go for this one. Plus the easy on-off feature is amazing.
