Classic or out of date. - Leupold VX-1 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope

Bought and tried. Did not meet my expectation. Had to send it back, thanks to the great Opticsplanet.com.
I found that with around the same money I can buy from other brands that offer a lot more by comparison to my own, friends and family's riflescopes. For example: Nikon buckmaster and the new prostaff, Burris fullfield E1, Sightron SII, Weaver and etc. They have better glass (coating), better turrets, most of them have monotube design. etc... Many of them are equal to or better than the Leupold VX-II in my experience and opinion. It's certainly not bad. It's light weight. Very low profile, and made by Leupold. It's good just others are better in many area not all, however.
Pros: Made by Leupold. Low profile and light weight.
Cons: There are many many other brands offer more for the same price.
