Vendetta 2 rangefinder is the bomb - Leupold Vendetta 2 Archery Rangefinder

This range finder is absolutely fabulous. I can't figure why other people would rate it bad. This dude is awesome. STEP 1. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FULLY, before you start to install. The instructions even say that. If you do that, you will understand the setup process and the unit will work perfectly. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. It works just like a rifle scope, you have to sight it in. and it is not a 10 minute process. oh, you can use their little paper target to ball park it down the hall way in the house, but to get it right, take it outside and sight it in on a target about 30 yards away or one as far away as you can see the red dot. the further the better. take your time, don't rush. once you get it locked in, it's bullet proof. mine brand new, on the first weekend out, my bow got slung out the side of my 4 wheeler, it hits the rocks and bounces across a steel cattle guard. it got beat up, scratched up and full of dust. picked it back up, said a few choice 4 letter words, blew the dust off of it, and tested it. still right on, and no trouble at all. I either got really lucky, or it's that well built. either way, i'll swear it's that tuff. I love it. The distances they say to use, don't have to be that exact. I wish the mounting bracket would extend the unit about an inch to a 1/2 inch further forward of the riser. the clearances are very tight and were a little tricky to mount, I had to pay attention to which bolts to tighten in a certain order putting pieces back on because of reach, clearance issues. other than that, it's fantastic.
