Leupold VX-3 HD
As you age and your eyes begin to fail you the opportunity to hunt early and late becomes difficult. I found that the red dot scopes help me get on target and stay on target. Leupold scopes are what I prefer. I have used these scopes for 50 years and the scopes have never let me down. I mounted this scope on a Ruger American rancher and it looks good and I know I can depend on it shot after shot.

Great red dot, very clear. Leupold scopes are hard to beat. Optics Planet always provides fast shipping.

Good value
the glass is really clear to the edges. magnification lever is smooth, short thow, and easy to grab without being in the way. Has a good versatile magnification range and reticle is nice. 1.5x is still low enough to use with two eyes open, CDS dial is a plus. I put it on my robinson XCR. I think it is worth the money for the value you get, even over the VX5 line. Leupold warrenty.

Great purchase, Optics Planet had the best price.
I bought this scope for a heavy big bore caliber rifle. It’s plenty of magnification for game out to 300 yards or even a little more. The scope is lightweight and the reticle clear with great definition. I look forward to putting it to use in the field. I love Leupolds warranty, and the fact that they’re made here in my back yard of Oregon.
