Beware that it meshes with your rifle - Leupold VX-3HD 3.5-10x40mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

Looks like a great scope. I had it installed on a brand new Sako 90 Hunter with Optilock mounts. I chose medium rings. We cannot get it to zero in at 100 yards. The scope’s elevation adjustment maxes out before we can get on target. So it shoots low by about 4 inches at 100 yards. This is a known issue, and AI was a great help identifying it. But I only found out afterward, when I began researching what might be the problem, assuming there’s nothing wrong with the scope. There are various suggested remedies, one of which is lowering the scope on the rifle. I just ordered low rings to see if that will solve the problem. To be continued when they come in …
