Vx-5hd 2-10x42 duplex - Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane

I really like that Luepold offers a duplex reticle in a standard scope. I do not like all the gobbledygook mill dot, BDC, etc on a hunting scope. I do realize most shooters are wannabe snipers but Luepold still throws us real hunters a bone.The VZ-5HD will easily hold it's own, and excel, with ANY European or Asian optic in the same price point. It is comparable to my Sworo, that costs half again as much. Field of view and low light visibility is some of the best. My only complaint is the one real issue with all Luepold rifle scopes; duplex posts and crosshairs are just too thin. They can get lost in lowlight. The heavy duplex is not an option for the VX-5HD w/out paying a huge custom premium.
