Guess i got a lemon - Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, Second Focal Plane

I liked this scope so good I put it on my favorite deer hunting rifle and it was awesome till it wasn’t. I always check my scopes during deer season because I can’t stand wounding or losing a deer the first two times I checked it it was slightly off and adjusted it and figured it was a fluke the last time I checked it it would just barely hit a pie plate at seventy yards put a 25 year old Zeiss I borrowed from my father and it would put them in the same hole. Needless to say I sent it back and hope they get it fixed I have exclusively bought and shot leupolds my whole life and until now they have been great and I hope this was a random fluke but if it happens again I’ll have to try a different brand unfortunately
