Scope is amazingly clear from edge to edge, firedot reticle is great and doesn't washout anything in the sight picture, adjustments are true and come back to zero. This scope is much more clear and crisp than my v3hd-4.5-14x50mm, which is much more clear and crisp than my vx1 (both are great riflescopes) The bigger tube diameter of the vx5 really helps gather light, you have to set a timer or you'll be hunting after legal shooting hours for sure.
Pros:
- Clarity, light gathering ability, quality
Cons:
- Doesn't come with the old rubber leupold scope cover, has plastic caps with rubber holding them like most cheaper scopes come with
