I have many high end scopes, Zeiss HD5, Trijicon Accupoint, Leupold VX3i....and let me tell you this VX5HD is the king. First, the American craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding, perfect finish. The FireDot reticle is great as well, it has many brightness settings for mid-day hunts to the last minutes of dusk. Also the FireDot turns off automatically after 5 minutes due to the motion sensor technology equipped in the VX5HD. No more turning the dot on/off repeated to save battery life. The glass is crystal clear, bright, and is the low light KING in my safe currently. Lastly, the turrets have positive clicks and the elevation dial has ZeroLock to keep your zero set after initial sight in. Don't forget the FREE CDS dial that comes with the VX5HD.
