Great in low light - Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x56mm Rifle Scope, 30 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I purchased the VX5HD 3-15x56 so I could move my 17 year old VariX III to my muzzleloader. This scope has great glass. Clear edge to edge and really stands out in low light. Comparing the two, it's easily got an additional 10 minutes of seeing (and that VariX III has been a great scope for a lot of years). The FireDot reticle is also fantastic. In those early / late, important minutes it can be dialed down very dim so it won't ruin your low light vision and is still easily seen. Although I haven't received the custom dial for my load yet, I can't wait to test that long range also. I highly recommend you take a look through this scope. It would be very hard to beat.
