Good scope for the money - Leupold VX-Freedom Rimfire 2-7x33mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I bought the Leupold VX Freedom for $200 for my .22lr semi and the Athlon Talos 4-14x44 for $300 for my AR15. The Leupold is a nice scope for a .22 rimfire. However it is SFP and only a 33m objective. The Athlon is FFP, much higher magnification, super reticle that is also illuminated, side parallax adjustment, dust caps and has tactical turret adjustments. Amazing scope for the money. The only downside is that the Athlon is made in China. The Leupold is adequate for my .22 semiauto, but for more rifle, I would look at the Athlon as it give incredible value for the money.
