Versatile scope - Leupold VX-Freedom EFR 3-9x33mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I have the VX-II version of this scope on my precision 10/22, so I have a good foundation for comparison... Overall, great scope... clear, tracks well, great reticle. The only thing I don't care for is the turret adjustments... Mushy as others report but they work. My VX-II is by far better in this category. I originally bought this scope for an air rifle to thin out the local gray squirrel population but has since been moved to my carbine and it works great and looks proportional for that application. I recently shot a 1.25" group @ 250yds with hornady 62gr bthp hand loads (5.56 velocities, stout load). Parallax adjustment does not have a travel "stop" like my VX-II.
