Quality optic for reasonable price - Leupold VX-Freedom CDS 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I came to Optics Planet to price a Leupold VX-1 but instead found this new line called VX-Freedom and based on the specs I decided to give it a try. The price was competitive and shipping was fast. Once I received this scope I compared it at dusk to the VX-1 & VX-II scopes I already own. I couldn't really see any noticeable difference between the VX-Freedom and the VX-1 but I do believe the VX-II was just a bit clearer especially on 9X. I'm not a fan of the new angular look of the turret housing but for the price I paid I think it's an overall great value.
