ezmoney00's Review of Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope, 30 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)
Some background on my setup, I have this scope on a Browning XBolt 2 in 6.5 CM using medium height scope rings and a 8” suppressor.
This left about 5mm of space in between the front lens and the barrel. Picture at 3x is clear and no sight of the barrel or can. At max magnification (9x) I can view everything really well too. The only concern I have is, with the scope rings I am using at least, there is little room to adjust eye relief before tightening down. The rings almost touch objective bell and theres about 1/4 inch of space to the power ring. Luckily I am able to work with the eye relief distance.
Overall this scope is a great upgrade from my last one with only a 24mm objective lens. I’m not fishing around for a picture at all. This scope is great for hunting comfortably at 200 yards, not saying you can’t at longer ranges. The illuminated dot is a must have for me too
