I have owned Nikon most of my life, but a friend convinced me to check out his Leupold. I could not believe the difference between the two scopes!!! Just for instance, it came with a $25 scope cover. The back lens adjust for you eye as does Nikon, but Leupold had a ring that tightens against the back lens to keep it in place, you don't have to use black tape. It has 3 to 5 inch eye relief. The clarity is by far much better and the low light sighting is again much better. This scope was at the top end of my price range, but i'm sure glad I spent the extra cause this one will last me a life time and probably my kids also.
