Before we get to the scope, let's start with the mounts. I usually use Ruger mounts for my No. 1s which I have to lap to true up before mounting the scope. I decided to try Leupold mounts which are designed for Ruger No. 1s. When I put the check cylinders in the mounts, they were dead on , no lapping required. Now the scope. When I bore sighted at 25 yds., the scope was only a few clicks from zero. Went to 100 yds. and had the scope zeroed with four shots. Put the next three shots through the same hole. Not bragging because I have never done that before. Mostly because of the Ruger No. 1 in 22-250 but partly due to the scope.
