.223 rounds recently used hunting wild hog - Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense .223 Remington 55 grain Fragmenting Hollow Point Centerfire Rifle Ammunition

One shot, dropped 120# feral pig at 25 yards. Very accurate shot placement , head shot, using a 2 moa red dot in the dark swamp on public land. A few stray frags found their way to the opposite side, front shoulder but did not cause any significant damage to the shoulder. I am not sure if this type ammo is recommended for hunting purposes or if it is non toxic and safe to eat meat that has been embedded with stray fragments. I am happy with the power, accuracy and the way the rounds cycled, ready for a second follow up shot if required.
