Not sure how to feel - Lone Wolf Arms Glock 22/31 9mm Threaded Conversion Barrel, 1/2x28

So I got the barrel in the mail yesterday, the presentation was extremely nice and it fit like a glove in my Glock 22C. Of course it looks extremely sick being stainless steel colored with a threaded barrel. I took it out to shoot today, and two things went wrong with it. 1. The thread protector completely came off the barrel while I was shooting. I'm not sure if I was supposed to remove it or something before I started shooting but the box never came with any sort of instructions that said that, or anything of the sort. In other words if I was supposed to remove it first I had no idea. I made sure to tighten it down as much as I could before I shot it, so why it came off is beyond me, so now I'm missing a thread protector. 2. The barrel refused to feed some of the rounds I used. I tried three different types of mags and four different types of ammo. Two out of the four types of ammo I used failed to feel with almost every round in the mag. The other two types of ammo ran flawlessly. I would appreciate being contacted about this by Optics planet if I could because I feel that neither of these situations should've occurred.
