Terrible - Lucid Optics 2x-5x Magnifier for Red Dot Sights, Stand Alone

Just received the lucid magnifier yesterday, took it out of the box and inspected it. Out of the box things seemed fine. The problems with this magnifier aren't physical though they're functional. The sight picture is way too dark, at 2X I can see farther without the magnifier and at 5X I realized how embarrassed I was for buying this magnifier. I have a Primary Arms 3X that was supposed to be replaced by the lucid but that's not happening now. The PA3X has a brighter sight picture and sees twice as far out with clarity.
I'm not saying you have to go get the PA3X but I am saying don't get the lucid 2X-5X variable!
Pros: Optics planets return policy
Cons: Wasted mine and optics planets time
