Best red dot, opticsplanet is the best place to purchase - Lucid Optics HD7 Gen III 1x34mm Reflex Red Dot Sight

This review is as much about opticsplanet as about the Lucid. The Lucid is the most durable feature rich sight around at this price or higher. Very clear reticle, love the auto or manual brightness option. The reticle options are great. The thing is completely waterproof, very user friendly, easy to get batteries. Yeah maybe you can't leave it on until your kids are in college like an aimpoint, but for $10 you can buy enough batteries to last just as long. Check out some of the in depth gear reviews on this, I did and you won't be disappointed.
Now on to OpticsPlanet, these guys were amazing, I originally ordered something totally different through walmart.com hut from opticsplanet, when I saw they had the lucid I called to change the order, it was very last minute and the representative bent over backwards and went way out of his way to get it done for me, now both the Black and FDE lucids were back ordered so I chose the black, but didn't really care, after a bit over a week I noticed the FDE was in stock, so I called, there were only 5 in stock, but again the representative went above and beyond and changed my order yet again to accommodate me and get my item to me faster. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.
