I works just fine, it is a mil spec buffer tube. The only reason I dinged it one star is that it does not have the little notch for the buffer retaining detent that makes the instillation practically stupid proof so you have to make sure it is oriented correctly (it helps to have the stock already on when installing to make it easier to see when it is vertical) it also does not have the little hole in the back to allow moisture to escape, and do not take my rifles into the water so that is a non issue. Seams to be well made
Pros:
- In spec and works as it should
Cons:
- no notch for buffer retaining detent
- No space at the end of the threads to allow endplate to rotate in place during install
