Robert's Review of Luth-AR Gas Block
Two stars instead of one because the machining looks great and it's very light weight. The set screw spacing doesn't fit any standard dimpling jig. Most jigs go down to .400 spacing. The spacing on this is .350. There's more than enough room on the block to extend the spacing to .450 which would have centered the screws on the block. Why they chose .350 spacing is beyond my understanding. The spacing isn't "standard" and it makes for a less secure mounting. The most important information a supplier can provide, with the exception of barrel size, is the screw spacing. Why most companies neglect to include this is beyond me.
