I have had this same model(115v) without Auto-Flo for many trouble free years. Adding the Auto-Flo makes a great product even better. It still is a little messy separating the media from your cases which I haven't found a better way yet, but the good part is you don't need a separate pan with sifter lid. Less gear is good!
Pros: Long lasting, Easy to use
Cons: A little messy.
