My favorite reloading manual (i have several) - Lyman 49th Edition Reloading Handbook

Very readable, and since it is from neither a bullet maker nor a powder manufacturer, it does not limit the information to any single company's bullets or powders. Gives a nice historical introduction for each caliber, and nice instructions for beginners on the reloading process. A great book for metallic reloading if you can only have one (it does not cover shotshell reloading). It does tend to promote Lyman reloading equipment, but that's less a problem than promoting a single company's bullets or powders.
Pros: Wide selection of loads, historical information on calibers
Cons: Of course, tries to promote Lyman equipment
