Strawsine - Lyman Pistol Bullet Mould: 44 Caliber - #429667

I've used WC and SWC bullets for years. This bullet design offers best design features of the SWC bullet molds I own, plus it provides dependable feeding into lever action carbine chambers. Dependable feeding in carbines is a problem with all WC and SWC bullets. I wish Lyman made this design in a .45 caliber mold, in addition to their .358 and 429 molds, for use in my .45 Colt revolvers and carbines.
Pros: Beveled base for easy case insertion. Wide, square grease groove holds plenty of lubricant . Wide enough meplate for both penetration and high impact for hunting purposes as well as target shooting.
