I purchased this mould for my friend and I to cast bullets for our 45 ACP pistols. Once the mould is hot, it spits out almost perfectly filled out bullets pretty quickly. I haven't mic'd the bullets, but they sure are pretty. This was the first new 4 cavity Lyman mould I have purchased and am impressed.
Pros:
  • good quality
  • fast production rate
Cons:
  • heavier than a 2 cavity mould
  • heats up slower than 2 cavity mould
  • cools down slower than 2 cavity mould
Best Used for:
  • 45 ACP pistols
