I've used velcro & other means to narrow the width of my loaders for my 1911 and they were okay. If money is not a consideration, it does the job nicely. I tried the second attachment to use for my Sig P365. Mags too wide. So, if you're frustrated and need a decent loader for 1911, money not a factor, this will do the trick. Remember, you need a maglula.
