Adds length, not protection..and it just looks awesome! - Magpul CTR Rubber Buttpad

I purchased this pad for two reasons, I wanted a little more length to my rifle, and I thought the pad would look B.A. as opposed to the standard pad that comes on the CTR stock....This buttpad serves those to purposes extremely well! The "rubber" pad is more of a soft plastic than a rubber, therefore, it does very little for recoil absorption..I knew that going in, but for those of you who need the extra cushion...this is not the pad for you!
