I had the MOE stock which worked fine but I wanted a QD point for a sling mount on the stock. The CTR stock fit perfect on the existing buffer tube, just slide the MOE off and slide the CTR on. The added lever tightens up the play between stock and buffer tube, it doesn't completely eliminate the play but helps.
