Converted remington 700 .308 adl to dbm (detachable box mag) - Magpul Industries Hunter 700 Rifle Stock, for Rem. 700 Short Action

I purchased a Remington 700 In 308 it had a top load ADL magazine which was fine at first when at the range but when hunting the rounds left in the gun had to be cycled out with the bolt. I wanted to upgrade the gun and get some accuracy out to 800yds. The flimsy OEM composite stock was not a free floating stock and the hunter 700 by magpie was. The hunter stock also has a trigger Gaurd with detachable box magazine kit which was easy to install and the whole stock and DBM conversion took me 15minutes. All the parts come in the kit and no cutting or trimming was require. The 5 round magazine that came with it works great I fact the bolt is smoother now and loads and ejects with no problem at all. I give this set up 5 stars. The hunter stock was $240 and the trigger Gaurd baseplate and magazine kit was $65. Awesome. Hope this helps
