The only issue is that rather than *simulating* malfunctions like failure to feed, fire, or extract, these regularly fail to actually feed or extract. They simulate clearing double feeds with incredible accuracy because they tend to double feed. If you intend to practice malfunctions, dry fire or otherwise, these will teach you how to clear them. I purchased these in .223/5.56 and fresh out of the package got them to double feed twice, fail to seat once, fail to eject roughly 40-50% of the time since. As my intended purpose was more aligned towards minor malfunctions, I did not find this very helpful.
