Having both 5.56 and .300 BLK firearms, using these dedicated .300 PMAGs eliminates any potential mix-ups. (I only use Brownell's aluminum mags for 5.56 applications - another quality magazine choice). Also, I do not question Magpul quality in any way. These mags will reliably feed all .300 rounds from 125 to 220 grain due to their designed-in geometry. I used to just use STANAG mags in my .300 weapons but had intermittent feeding issues with heavier weight cartridges. These dedicated PMAGS have erased this problem entirely. 300 Blk Out magazine.

300 BLK FEED PROBLEM FIXER

You might have been told that 5.56 NATO mags are perfect for 300BLK. This is not true. The 300 BLK cartridge size differences can cause feed failures and BCG jams. These differences are compensated for in this mag's body and follower to solve any failure-to-feed problems caused by 5.56 mags.

these Magpul mags are durable and consistent delivering shells under varied and extreme conditions. i gave yet to have any shell jams in my Aeroprecision AR-15 build. i am a firm believer in them and appreciate their low cost.
