Now i know what all the fuss is about - Magpul Industries PRS GEN3 Precision-Adjustable Stock for AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 platforms

I installed this stock onto a friend's DPMS bull barrel 308 rifle. He's a tall guy (6'7 or so) and needed a longer LOP for comfortable shooting with this rifle. With the simple install of this stock he was good to go. There was even some LOP adjustment left if he ever needed it. It did add about 10oz to his rifles weight, but he only uses it in stationary hunting and target shooting. With that fat bull barrel it gave the rifle a little more balance with the added weight. This gun was too heavy to carry around before, and this stock didn't help or really hurt that. I probably wouldn't install this on something I was going to carry for more than an hour or so at a time. If you already have a bunch of titanium parts for weight reduction on your rifle, this probably isn't the stock for you.
