Excellent upgrade for a ruger precision rifle - Magpul Industries PRS GEN3 Precision-Adjustable Stock for AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 platforms

The original stock on the Ruger Precision Rifle I found difficult to adjust. My son and I both shoot the rifle and we each need different adjustments. The Magpul GEN III stock was exactly what we needed. Extremely easy to install and to adjust for height and length. The Ruger Precision Rifle can shoot sub MOA groups all day long. The Magpul GEN III sock make it even better. My best group so far is a 4 shot group slightly under 1/4 inch at 100 yards. The first time my son shot the rifle at 200 yards he got a 5 shot group that was 2/3 MOA shooting hand loaded 6.5 Creedmoor Hornady 140 grain ELD Match bullets in Lupua brass with 40 grains of H4350 powder. The Magpul stock makes it much easier to the view through the scope for a clear sharp image. Also, the GEN III version of the stock fits either a carbine or rifle tube. Come with adaptors for both. The Ruger Precision Rifle has the carbine tube, so no change out of tubes required. The previous versions of the Magpul stock (GEN I & II) required the rifle tube. Overall, an excellent purchase and upgrade for the Ruger Precision Rifle.
