Defective out of the box - Magpul Industries Zhukov-S Folding Collapsible Stock, AK47/AK74

I was excited to complete my AK 12 build with a folding/collapsible stock that didn’t need any modifications to install. Unfortunately I’m not even able to install it because the stock won’t fold. The button is nearly impossible to depress and when using all my strength to actually push it in, the folding mechanism doesn’t budge. It’s a shame because the stock itself seems to be very good quality. It has weight to it, is very sturdy with no wiggle and looks awesome. I contacted both OpticsPlanet and Magpul but have yet to hear back. So now I’m stuck with a $100 paperweight and a build I was excited to complete put on the back burner. I imagine It’ll be at least two weeks at the earliest to receive a replacement. I have Magpul products installed on most of my firearms and have been happy with the quality up until now, but I definitely am disappointed with this stock and their lack of QC. I will probably just return it and go for a different option from a local B&M
