I originally had the first version of the Zhukov. Didn't like that I couldn't put in the cleaning rod. Now, with the Zhukov U I can put on the cleaning rod! BUT, now there's no room for any m-lok accessories on the bottom rail. The cleaning rod gets in the way of the m-lok fasteners, which makes all the m-lok slots on the bottom pointless. If you do squish on an accessory, it has to be in the front 2 slots, but then the cleaning rod can't come out without removing that accessory.
Pros:
- Light weight, lots of mounting options, can use bayonet and cleaning rod, setup qd sling mounts etc
Cons:
- Cannot use accessories on bottom rail if cleaning rod is in place
Best Used for:
- Anyone wanting to modernize their platform
