I'm using this short rail to mount a tripod, but it could be used to mount lights, lasers, or whatever. Basically this is just a short section of picatinny rail that can be installed on a Magpul handguard in a variety of locations so as to be able to install almost anything. Whatever you can fit on a picatinny rail, you will be able to fit on this Magpus MOE rail. It comes in various lengths depending on your needs and all mounting hardware is included. Great product.
