I don't work for Optics Planet, MagStorage, or *any* defense industry company. What I *can* say is that this mag holder is outstanding! Whether aluminum or polymer (even with covers installed), this thing naturally and easily allows insertion, removal, and great retention.
In my case, I wanted something reliable on the side of my gun safe. Something that won't move. Something that won't scratch up my safe. People complain about the price of the magnet add-on, but these things are *strong*! I don't care *what* this costs as a pair, but the *solution* is top-notch! If you're still reading this review, someone is stealing the last one in stock, so get on it!
