Good choice for versatility of vetical/horizontal grip, but a bit sloppy - FAB Defense Black/OD Green/Desert Tan Tactical Folding Grip w/ 1 1/8 inch Flashlight Adapter

I like the versatility of being able to use the grip in either a horizontal or vertical mode. It holds a 1" flashlight securely, something not always found with a quick-release grip. It is lightweight and does not significantly alter the balance point of the rifle. Note that if you do mount it with the FAB Defense lower handguard, or any lower handguard which does not extend further forward than the original wooden handgrip, you will have to mount it as far forward as possible, or it will not allow enough "swing" room to seat the AK banana clip.

I take one star away because the grip handle has a slight wobble to it in either the the horizontal or vertical position. It's a bit disconcerting, but doesn't seem to affect function. Whether or not it will loosen further over time to the point where it will be TOO unstable remains to be seen.
