Made well but has fitment issues - FAB Defense Barrel Rail Mount

Mount seems to be made well, the quality of the material is great. However the slots for mounting pic attachments (a surefire light in my case) are way too small and won’t allow the slotted portion of my light mount to go into the picatinny slot. Debating if I want to return it or try and file the pic slot down to fit my light. I’d recommend test fitting whatever pic accessories you plan on mounting before installing on your gun to ensure it will work for your use case.
