Bollard lights long lasting - Malibu Bollard Outdoor Light w/ 20 Watt MR11 Halogen

I installed these lights about 7 years ago and just recently had to replace the light bulb sockets on a few. The new replacement sockets were almost as much as the new lights through Optics Planet. ( OP price was almost half of original purchase price from big box store.) The light fixture is solid metal, no rusting after 7 years in southeran Louisiana, and the glass is 2 1/2 inches of solid glass so these lights withstood 7 years of lawn use neglect just fine. The electrical plugs that failed were probably due to the red aunts building houses in the hollow base of these fixtures. Recommend these lights to anyone wanting path lighting in garden or yard.
