I bought this to attach to my Stoney Point Monopod. This gave me the flexibility to have a hiking stick and camera support in one tool. It got a work out in a recent hiking trip in Utah. It did a great job. The combination gave me the best of both capabilities with out the cost and weight of a separate camera support.
Pros: It works just like it is supposed to. Light weight with strong, firm adjustments
Cons: By the description one would think you need an adaptor for the 1/4 X20 camera thred. But it works just as it is.
