Flashider > muzzle brake! - Manticore Arms Eclipse 1/2x28 Flash Hider For AR-15

Pros: solid construction, didn’t hear a pinging sound while shooting, reduces flash to a ghost, follow up shots are visible under range conditions. Cons: price, profs could be sanded down as they cut, longer than I thought, eats up your range bag if not secured properly. This item comes with a washer so please make sure you put it on correctly. I didn’t have to re-zero for a 25 yard zero previously applied to an ar556 ruger muzzle break. Only a quarter turn for elevation and I was back on target at 25 yards. But as it stands, I can tell the difference between the muzzle break and the manticore it two ways. One, the sound is no longer punishing. The manticore does not redirect sound towards you as my old muzzlebrake did. But as a flash hider, that recoil is no longer as controlled. That’s physics. But it’s not a problem. I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to more time on the range and training. Stay chiseled!
