Well made item! - Manticore Arms Tavor 7 Hammerhead Polymer Forend

I purchased this item to extend the forend of my Tavor 7 to cover the short segment of exposed barrel between the original forend and the rear of my suppressor. The fit of the replacement forend is very good. Although it isn't 100% perfect, I'd say it is a 99.5% fit. The only place where there is a noticeable transition is at the seam at the lower rear of the forend on both sides. The forend surface is raised VERY slightly above the mating component of the firearm frame. This is a complete non-issue. Installation was a little tricky, but only because the new forend is such a snug fit. This is actually a good thing because it ensures that the forend is held tightly in place. If you follow the online instructions and be patient, and take care not to force anything together, there is no problem at all. My package actually arrived without the tools and brass screws. However, I immediately emailed OpticsPlanet customer support and they contacted me back the next day to tell me that they had contacted the OEM and my parts should be on the way. I received the parts 2 days later . . . GREAT customer service from OpticsPlanet and the OEM. The finish of this item is a 99+% match. The texture and color are nearly indistinguishable from the original components from more than a foot away under various lighting. If you look VERY closely, you can tell that the polymer/fiber mix of the replacement forend is slightly different, but you really have to be looking for a difference to notice. I am completely satisfied with this item and would purchase again.
