Top of the line benchrest scope - March Scopes 40x52mm Benchrest Fixed Power Rifle Scope

I bought this scope for my new short range benchrest rifle being built this winter. I selected a March scope on the advice of a couple of other benchrest shooters who are very successful match shooters. March scopes have a great reputation for holding their POI better than any other brand. They are quality-built and very solid and rugged. I bought the 40X because I was told the optics are better on the 40X than on the 50X. March scopes are not inexpensive. In short range centerfire benchrest shooting, if the scope will not absolutely hold POI, you will never get the tiny groups that you and your rifle may be capable of. To shoot your best groups, pay more and buy a March.
