Best ever!! - Maui Jim Stingray Sunglasses

Having owned many pairs of high-end sunglasses over the years, I must say that hands-down these are the best I have ever owned. My last pair, Oakley Flak Jackets with polarized lenses were really great, but simply cannot compare to the Maui Jim Stingray's that replaced them. The optical quality offered by the polarized bronze high-contrast glass lenses is stunning, crisp and impressive. The bronze color of the lenses coupled with the treatments the lenses receive entirely enhances both color and contrast. It just rips the greens and reds out and amplifies them making any landscape appear amazing. They are not terribly dark lenses, but they do fine even when facing extreme sun intensity never making you wish you had purchased the darker lenses, yet when in low-light conditions you will be glad you chose the HCL lenses since they aren't too dark (like when driving into a tunnel). The quality of the frame is excellent. The hinges and hardware are high-quality and the temples are outfitted with spring-loaded hinges that allow the glasses to nicely hug your face with a solid, but not at all heavy feel. I have nothing but great things to say about these glasses and I think they were worth every penny, if not more! When I show them off to my friends, I tell them to put them on and they are blown away by how beautiful everything looks. Like HD. :) So long as the style of these frames works for you, I'd say go for it because you can't go wrong with them and that probably includes the entire Maui Jim product line. I will be a customer for life - I'm sold! I'm in Southern California and these sunglasses cut the mustard out here for sure.
