You can get much slimmer profile 1913 rail sections then this out there for an M-LOC rail, however if you are not looking for something slim profile but don’t want to deal with the inherent PITA that comes with installing the screws, this is the best design.
It’s reversed engineered with spring loaded screws that wont let go of the proprietary nut. The height is warranted due to its design, which would normally take a “star” in my reviews but this isn’t you average cheap item, it’s taller with a purpose. That warranted to fifth “star” back to my review.
